Ultralase Cleanse Is Back!

If you are a regular reader of our blog (if you are – THANK YOU! If you are not, the RSS feed is up there on the right :), by now you might be aware that cleansers bring us joy. In fact we are obsessed. Cleansing is important, it’s the first step to healthy and beautiful skin. One of the hero products from our range is our Ultralase Cleanse, which was out of stock for a while due to a sourcing issue. Our sincerest apologies for that.

But we are beyond thrilled to let you know that it is finally (FINALLY) back in stock all new and improved. Meet Ultralase Cleanse (12% Mandelic Gluconic Acid Face Wash)!

What’s in it?

Ultralase Cleanse contains a multi-acid blend of 12% Mandelic acid and Gluconic acid in a gentle foaming base. The formula combines 6% Mandelic acid and 6% Gluconic acid with our own proprietary skin-friendly blend of soap free cleansing agents. It has a pH of 3.5. When mixed with water it will produce a soft dense foam.

Mandelic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid that has unique antibiotic properties and targets hyperpigmentation and adult acne.

Gluconic acid is a poly-hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates and has humectant and moisturizing properties. It is also an antioxidant that protects the skin against free radical damage. Poly-hydroxy acids are a new generation of AHAs that have similar properties, but cause less irritation which makes them suitable for sensitive skin.

Ultralase Cleanse is vegan, not tested on animals and free from parabens and SLS.

What does it do?

A cleanser is just a cleanser, right? No. Also, who would utter such blasphemy? Ultralase Cleanse gently exfoliates dead skin cells and refines the skin texture. It also reduces breakouts and prevents congestion. With long term use it fades sun spots and discoloration.

Who is Ultralase Cleanse for?

For any adult skin that is prone to acne and breakouts. It is also suitable for oily, combination and normal skin types.

How to use?

Moisten your face with water, use a pump or two of cleanser and massage in. Remove with a warm damp face cloth and rinse away any remaining residue. Ultralase Cleanse can be used 1 or 2 times a day according to your skin’s needs.

That said – if you are new to acids, we would advise to start slow. Use once every other day for a 2-week period to give your skin a chance to adjust to the product. Also overexfoliation is a thing and we want you to avoid it.

Likewise – do not forget to use sun protection. It is imperative to protect the skin when you use any type of an acid based product.

And there it is, the new and improved Ultralase Cleanse in a nutshell. If you do decide to try it out, please do let us know how you like it.
